Article Icon 1Cruz Criticizes Threat to Revoke ABC’s License

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz criticized FCC Chairman Brendan Carr’s threat to revoke ABC’s broadcast license over Jimmy Kimmel’s comments regarding Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer. Cruz called the suggestion “dangerous as hell” during the Friday episode of his podcast.

Kimmel’s late-night show was pulled off the air after the host accused Trump supporters of “desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them.”

Carr condemned Kimmel’s remarks as “the sickest conduct possible” and suggested “there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead” if broadcasters don’t “take action.” Later, President Trump seemed to endorse the idea of revoking the licenses of networks that are overly critical of him.

While Cruz said he agreed with ABC’s decision to suspend Kimmel’s show, he compared Carr’s threat to mafia tactics and warned conservatives that Democrats would use the precedent to silence critics when they regain power.

It might feel good right now to threaten Jimmy Kimmel, but when it is used to silence every conservative in America, we will regret it,” said Cruz

Article Icon 1DOJ Investigating Austin

The Department of Justice has launched an investigation to determine whether Austin’s employment practices violate Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

In a letter to Mayor Kirk Watson, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon expressed concern about the city’s Office of Equity and Inclusion, which aims to facilitate “working from a racial equity lens.” She cited guidance to “delineate clear racial equity expectations regarding hiring.”

The Department of Justice will not tolerate discriminatory race-based employment practices and DEI policies, in Austin or other cities,” said Dhillon in a statement.

Watson defended the city’s employment practices, insisting they are “in full compliance with the law” and “assure highly qualified public servants, who care deeply about our entire community and bring their unique characteristics to the jobs they do.”

Article Icon 1FAA Comments on Flight Disruptions

According to the FAA, hundreds of flights at DFW International and Love Field airports on Friday and Saturday were canceled and delayed due to “multiple failures” of a service provided by Dallas-based Frontier Communications.

The outage, traced to two cut fiber optic cables, affected the FAA’s Dallas TRACON facility, which manages incoming and outgoing air traffic within 50 miles. The FAA said that one of its contractors, aerospace and defense company L3Harris, “failed to ensure that redundancies in the system functioned properly.”

American Airlines was forced to cancel 530 flights on Friday and another 160 on Saturday. At Love Field, there were 244 delays and one cancellation on Friday.

“This is a clear example of the FAA’s outdated infrastructure and underscores the urgent need to modernize our air traffic control systems,” said a statement from the agency.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy concurred: “This is EXACTLY why @POTUS and I are hard at work to build a brand new air traffic control system.”

The Flyover

A groundbreaking discovery is transforming how we understand memory and brain health.

Scientists at the prestigious Weinberg College of Chicago recently built the world’s most advanced atomic microscope, powerful enough to look deep inside a living, active brain. What they saw left them stunned: the true location of memory cells and how these cells shape our daily habits, decisions, and even personality.

Even more exciting, their research revealed a simple way to restore lost memory and sharpen mental clarity—without expensive treatments or risky medications. A revolutionary mental training program now makes it possible to reverse even severe memory loss using just a few easy, 3-minute techniques.

Because it relies on natural brain retraining—not drugs or supplements—powerful corporations are already trying to keep this discovery from the public.

The opportunity to reclaim your memory may not be available for long.
