Question: Where in Texas can you see the world’s largest pair of cowboy boots?
Answer: Outside North Star Mall in San Antonio
Created by artist Bob “Daddy-O” Wade in 1979 for an arts project in Washington, D.C., the boots were moved to San Antonio in January 1980. The sculpture measures 35 feet 3 inches tall, and Guinness World Records lists its record for the largest cowboy boot sculpture as Nov. 4, 2014. Wade commemorated the difficult cross-country move in the song Too High, Too Wide, Too Long.
