Question: What are the names of the brothers who were kidnapped by the Lipans and Comanches in 1871 and then lived among them for five years?

Answer: Clint and Jeff Smith. They were taken at the ages of 8 and 10 while herding sheep near their home on Cibolo Creek between San Antonio and Boerne. Several attempts to rescue the boys failed, but they were returned to their families nearly five years later. Their story is told in the book The Boy Captives.
