Question: What Texas town is home to the world’s largest windmill museum?

Answer: Lubbock. The American Windmill Museum showcases over 160 restored windmills across 28 acres of Mackenzie Park. It was established in 1993 by Texas Tech University professor Billie Wolfe and Coy Harris, a Lubbock native and CEO of Wind Engineering Corporation. Dominating the grounds is a 165-foot-tall, 660-kilowatt wind turbine that provides power to the museum, which also boasts a large model train display.
