🚨 Final Push: Help Us Hit Our Q3 Goal 🚨

When we launched this campaign, our goal was to be at 50% of our funding by the end of Q3. Today, we’re at 42%. With your help, we can close the gap before the quarter ends tomorrow.

Investments start at $750 (just $2 per share), and virtually every dollar is invested in growth: building new audiences, expanding into new states, driving more revenue, and fueling future profits.

What YOUR investment has already achieved:

  • Massive growth: When we started this raise in August, The Flyover had approximately 2.5 million readers. Just weeks later, we’re closing in on 3 million.
  • Texas: On track for 500,000 readers (or more!) by year’s end.
  • Florida: Growth surged 32% since new investments began—proof that investor support makes the difference.
  • The Flyover Podcast: Breaking records daily for listens and views as we expand into audio and video.
  • Exciting innovation coming soon: Our first-ever Flyover app and Flyover text alerts will give readers even more ways to access fact-first news.

Why invest now?

  • The Q3 finish line is tomorrow, and we’re behind our goal.
  • We’ve already raised $2.1 million from over 1,350 readers-turned-investors.
  • Every new investment helps us grow audiences, expand into new states, and strengthen a profitable, reader-owned media company.

Legacy media continues to mislead and disappoint. The Flyover is different: no corporate bosses, no bias, no agendas. Just fact-first news for common-sense Americans.

Will you help us close the Q3 gap and build the future of news by investing today?

Article Icon 1New Strategy to Stop Screwworm

The Texas Department of Agriculture announced it will install fly traps along the border with Mexico to “monitor, detect, and stop” the spread of the parasitic New World screwworm, which has been confirmed 70 miles from the border and poses a major threat to the state’s cattle industry.

In a Friday announcement, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller indicated the traps would be deployed from Laredo to Brownsville, in the port areas of Galveston and Corpus Christi, and in export pens in Brownsville, Del Rio, El Paso, Laredo, and Houston.

We are taking proactive steps to monitor, detect, and stop this parasite before it harms Texas agriculture,” said Miller. “Our farmers, ranchers, and consumers depend on us being ready, and we will be.”

In August, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced it would build a $750 million facility in Edinburg to produce sterile male flies, a proven strategy to suppress the screwworm population.

Article Icon 1NOAA Identifies Spots for Gulf Fish Farms

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has designated three locations off the Texas coast as preferred Aquaculture Opportunity Areas (AOAs), where producers can cultivate fish and aquatic plants in enclosed areas of the Gulf.

The report follows executive orders issued in 2020 and in April of this year that aim to boost domestic seafood production. According to the NOAA, Americans consume $15 billion of seafood imported from other countries whose “labor and environmental standards often fall short” of those in the U.S.

The AOAs are located away from busy shipping lanes and comprise a total of 4,500 acres in federal waters northeast of Port Isabel, southeast of Matagorda Bay, and southeast of Freeport. The NOAA also identified 10 opportunity areas off the California coast.

By growing our domestic aquaculture industry, we will strengthen American health, create good-paying jobs, and drive sustainable, long-term economic growth for our nation,” said agency representative Eugenio Piñeiro Soler.

Five Texas-based small businesses will see their products on H-E-B shelves in the near future after winning the popular grocer’s 12th annual Quest for Texas Best competition. More than 370 entrepreneurs from across the state entered the contest.

Austin’s Oca Foods won the grand prize of $50,000 for their individually wrapped peanut butter bites. The snack is inspired by Pacoca, a Brazilian treat that was a childhood favorite of company founder Renato Raposo.

Tozi Super Foods, also of Austin, took home the first place prize of $25,000 for their tortilla chips and tortillas made from blue corn, nopal, and amaranth. The business was founded by two sisters and their mother from Jalisco, Mexico.

McAllen’s Deli Spices won second place and $15,000 for their birria spice mix. Spicytude of Dallas and My Drink Bomb of Houston tied for third place, winning $10,000 each.
