Question: What megachurch occupies the building that once hosted Houston Rockets home games?
Answer: Lakewood Church. Its central campus, initially called The Summit, was completed in 1975 and hosted Rockets home games until 2003, when the team moved to the newly opened Toyota Center. In 1998, the venue became known as the Compaq Center. Lakewood Church leased the facility from the city of Houston after the Rockets moved, and they purchased it outright in 2010.
