Answer: Houston. The Beer Can House, owned and operated by the Orange Show since 2001, is the creation of the late John Milkovisch, a Southern Pacific Railroad upholsterer who moved into the Rice Military neighborhood home in 1940.
In 1968, he began making concrete pavers with marbles for a patio, and within a few years, they covered the entire backyard. Turning his attention to the house, he covered its siding with discarded beer cans and made aluminum garlands for the eaves. He continued to add to his eccentric work of art until his death in 1988.
