Paxton Investigating Solar Companies
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into four residential solar power companies for alleged violations of the state’s Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act.
In a press release, Paxton claimed his office had received more than 100 formal complaints against San Antonio-based CAM Solar Inc., Houston-based Lone Star Solar Services LLC, San Francisco-based SunRun Inc., and Freedom Forever LLC of Temecula, California.
“Thousands of Texans have been targeted by companies selling solar panel systems, and it’s imperative that these companies are held responsible for any lies or deceptive marketing they use,” Paxton said.
Consumer group Texas Appleseed has collected statements from multiple alleged victims of fraudulent solar power companies, and Houston outlets ABC13 and KPRC 2 have interviewed customers of Freedom Forever and SunRun who claimed they were charged more than $130,000 for agreements they were pressured to sign and didn’t fully understand.
TxDOT Asks for Input on I-35
TxDOT is seeking public input on the future of I-35 to “identify existing gaps and evolving multimodal transportation needs and opportunities” over the next 25 years.
Known as the Main Street of Texas, I-35 stretches approximately 590 miles from Laredo to the Texas-Oklahoma border and serves a region that’s home to about half of the state’s population. Click here to complete the survey, which is available until May 6.
“I-35 is one of the most important interstates for the state of Texas and our nation, supporting Texas’ economy and quality of life,” said TxDOT Transportation Planning and Programs Director Humberto “Tito” Gonzalez Jr.
The comprehensive study is being developed in coordination with a regional working groups, a steering committee, industry groups, and international representatives. It’s expected to be finalized this fall.
Waymo Mishaps in San Antonio
Following Waymo’s launch in San Antonio in February, several mishaps involving the company’s autonomous vehicles have left locals scratching their heads.
Over the weekend, an occupied Waymo vehicle got stuck facing the wrong direction in a Whataburger drive-thru lane. Police manually moved the car after its self-driving mode was deactivated.
The same day, a Waymo vehicle had to be towed after getting stranded at a high-water crossing. No passengers were inside at the time.
And last week, one of the company’s vehicles ignored a cop’s directions and proceeded in the wrong direction through a one-way school zone. It was a “scary and dangerous” situation, said parent Pam Antal.

The Next $435B Energy Empire Is Being Minted
In today’s dollars, John D. Rockefeller would be worth $435 billion. But “oil money” is old news, and what’s next might surprise investors in 2026: a $2.1 Trillion opportunity in “clean” coal.
Now is the “Rockefeller” moment for Frontieras as they reform coal into hydrogen, diesel and other valuable commodities (just like Rockefeller did with oil). With a White House that favors domestic energy, the NASDAQ ticker FASF reserved, and land officially purchased for their flagship coal reformation plant, Frontieras is positioned for potential valuation impact.
This is a paid advertisement for Frontieras’s Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at https://invest.frontieras.com/ Reservation of the ticker symbol is not a guarantee that we will be listed on the NASDAQ. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals. Under Regulation A+, a company has the ability to change its share price by up to 20%, without requalifying the offering with the SEC.
