Good Morning! On this day in 1876, the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas opened its doors to 106 students under its first president, Thomas S. Gathright. Texas A&M marks 150 years of classes today.
Later today, watch for an email from our partner, Insurify, showing you a fast way to compare car insurance rates from more than 100 companies and potentially save up to $1,100 a year.
In case you missed it on The Flyover Podcast, Ayla counted down the seven pets linked to longer lives. One study that followed 3.4 million people over 12 years found that owners of a particular pet were 40% less likely to die during that period, and it’s not the one you’d guess. Some surprising animals made the cut, and the pet that landed at No. 1 isn’t even the most popular choice in American homes. Ayla ran through the full countdown and the research behind each one. Tune in here!
Today’s sponsor, Dr. Steven Gundry, is sharing why he recommends an alternative to bone broth for collagen support and the simple “collagen reset technique” he says can help your body support its own collagen production.

Judge Halts Big Bend Border Construction
A federal judge in El Paso on Friday blocked border barrier construction across the Big Bend region while a lawsuit against the Trump administration plays out.
U.S. District Judge Kathleen Cardone’s order covers the roughly 500-mile Big Bend sector, including Big Bend National Park and privately owned land upriver and downriver. She found the challengers likely to win on at least one claim.
The Center for Biological Diversity, Friends of the Ruidosa Church, and a river guide sued in April, arguing DHS improperly waived environmental laws such as the Endangered Species Act to speed construction. A CBP construction pause had expired Sept. 30.
“We stand by our assessment and remain confident in our legal authorities to secure the border while preserving the unique landscape of the Big Bend region,” DHS said in a statement, adding that it’s working with the Justice Department on next steps.

Trump Heads to San Antonio Wednesday
President Trump will hold a midterm rally Wednesday at Freeman Coliseum on San Antonio’s East Side, according to the Republican National Committee.
Doors open at 2 p.m., with Trump expected to speak around 6 p.m. U.S. Senate nominee Ken Paxton and congressional candidate Carlos De La Cruz are slated to join him.
De La Cruz faces Democrat Johnny Garcia, a longtime Bexar County sheriff’s deputy, in the newly redrawn 35th Congressional District. Bexar County Democrats are organizing a protest outside the venue.
The rally follows a new ad from Paxton’s estranged wife, state Sen. Angela Paxton, who said she’ll vote for “the Republican ticket” without naming him. A New York Times/Siena poll released Saturday showed Democrat James Talarico leading Paxton by 6 points.
It’s Trump’s third trip to Texas in less than a month, following his Oct. 1 visit to Peterbilt’s Denton truck plant.

Texas Ranks 7th for UFO Sightings
Texas ranks 7th in the nation for UFO sightings per capita, according to a new analysis released ahead of World Space Week, which begins today.
The study, by gambling website Casino.ca, counted 28,120 Texas sightings from 1974 through 2026, or one for every 1,067 residents.
The analysis combined National UFO Reporting Center reports with social media posts. Delaware ranked first for the second straight year, while Texas slipped one spot.
Within Texas, Houston has logged the most reports to the center since 1995, with 457, followed by Austin and San Antonio.

Doctor unveils dark bone broth secret (avoid now)
If you think bone broth is a great way to get collagen, think again.
According to a former surgeon, animal bones are known for absorbing heavy metals.
This can potentially lead to brain fog, fatigue, or even muscle weakness.
That’s why he recommends a “collagen reset technique” instead.
To his knowledge, it’s the only technique that can help your body build its own collagen.
Anyone can do it without drinking broths.
See the technique here.

California Surgeon: “Muscle Loss in Seniors is Real, But It Doesn’t Have to Be”
If you think collagen is only for supporting healthier skin, hair, and nails, think again.
Not only does it play a role in holding the teeth in your mouth, keeping your heart walls intact, and reinforcing your gut lining, but it’s also what allows you to enjoy your favorite outdoor activities without getting tired.
But unfortunately, eating more collagen isn’t the answer.
That’s why Dr. Steven Gundry has created what he calls the “collagen reset technique.”
And to his knowledge, it’s the only technique that’s designed to help your body build its own collagen.
