A Texas judge has convened a grand jury to examine potential criminal charges against law enforcement officers who failed to take decisive action during the Uvalde school shooting.

The jury is expected to review the evidence presented in the Department of Justice’s scathing report that outlined a string of failures by Uvalde police.

Criminal charges could be filed against police officers for their failures during the massacre at Robb Elementary; potential charges could include child endangerment or injury to a child.
