Question: What Texas town is home to a historic water tower nicknamed the Tin Man?

Answer: Bandera. Completed in 1941 with funding from the federal Works Progress Administration, the 100-foot-tall steel water tower has a capacity of 60,000 gallons but hasn’t been connected to the city’s water supply for years. It received its nickname for its resemblance to the character in The Wizard of Oz. During the recent winter storm, the water in the tower drained out after a pipe burst.
