Question: Where in Texas can you see the wreckage of a B-36 bomber that crashed in 1953?

Answer: Ranger Peak in the Franklin Mountains, just south of Fort Bliss in El Paso. A blizzard on the afternoon of December 11, 1953, led to the crash that killed all nine crew members. The hike to the crash site is somewhat challenging due to the elevation gain and difficult terrain. The wreckage is protected as a Texas State Archaeological Site.
