Question: What Texas town is home to a giant roadrunner named Paisano Pete?

Answer: Fort Stockton. Measuring 11 feet tall and 22 feet long, the fiberglass structure was the world’s largest roadrunner when it was installed in 1980. It was purchased from a company in Wisconsin for $6,250, and a $50 prize was offered to the winner of a contest to select a name for the giant roadrunner. Paisano Pete lost his world title in 1993 to an enormous roadrunner made out of recycled materials in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
