Article Icon 1Coyote Chases Children at Dallas Park

A coyote briefly chased two children in a neighborhood park near White Rock Lake in Dallas last week before a parent scared it away.

Dallas Animal Services placed signs in the area warning about an increased coyote presence after an adult encountered one last Tuesday. Officials believe the animals could have been attracted to trash left at the park from an Easter egg hunt on Sunday.

We don’t know what escalated it. The animal could have been resource protective or protecting cubs nearby,” said Dallas Animal Services Director Paul Ramon, who added the interaction is “not typical.”

Sheryl Gould, who lives nearby and frequently takes her grandchildren to the park, said she’s encountered coyotes there on more than one occasion. “They’re pretty bold,” she said.

Article Icon 1Bike Ride Raises Money for Multiple Sclerosis

More than 5,000 cyclists participated in a 150-mile ride ending in College Station this past weekend to raise money for multiple sclerosis research. The Bike MS: Texas MS 150 is one of the largest such events organized by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The two-day ride began at multiple sites in either Austin or Houston on Saturday with an overnight stay at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange. Police and volunteers were stationed along the route to ensure safety and provide assistance.

Participants were required to raise at least $400 to register for the event. This year’s race raised over $8.2 million, and the event has generated over $330 million in donations in its 41-year history.

First-time rider Deepa Adur said she’s always wanted to do it, but she mustered up the courage to participate this year. “You can do it. It’s all about your mind,” she said.

Apple’s Starlink Update Sparks Huge Earning Opportunity

Apple just secretly added Starlink satellite support to iPhones through iOS 18.3.

One of the biggest potential winners? Mode Mobile.

Mode’s EarnPhone has already reached more than 45 million users who have earned over $325 million, and that’s before global satellite coverage. With SpaceX eliminating “dead zones” worldwide, Mode’s earning technology can now reach billions more in unbanked and rural populations worldwide.

Their global expansion is perfectly timed, and you still have a chance to invest in their pre-IPO offering at just $0.26/share.

Mode’s recent 32,481% revenue growth and their newly reserved Nasdaq ticker $MODE puts them one step closer to a potential IPO.

Last chance to invest at $0.26/share. Price changes on May 1.
