Texas A&M has signed the largest multimedia deal in the history of college athletics.

It’s a 15-year, $515-million deal with Playfly Sports, a digital media company that represents the multimedia rights of 25 other universities. The deal is fully guaranteed and will bump A&Ms annual media rights payout from $18-million to $34-million

Playfly will be tasked with ramping up the Aggies’ NIL opportunities, as well as creating new ways for fans to engage with the program and creating new revenue sources.

Texas A&M athletic director Trev Alberts said the partnership “reflects our commitment to innovation, maximizing our revenue potential, and providing new opportunities for our student-athletes, fans, and corporate partners.”
