Lubbock police deployed a crime-fighting robot to apprehend a suspect who had barricaded himself in a motel room last week.

Wanted for a parole violation, 39-year-old Felix Delarosa got in a shootout with investigators at a Lubbock Days Inn, prompting law enforcement to send in a bomb squad robot to get him to surrender.

Delarosa tried to disable the robot by shooting it and throwing a sheet over it, but the robot sprayed tear gas through a broken window.

When Delarosa exited the room, the robot drove on top of him, pinning him to the ground and allowing authorities to take him into custody. Check out the video here.
