Article Icon 1Massive Pipeline Fire Erupts Near Houston

A 20-inch natural gas pipeline was damaged in the Houston suburb of La Porte Monday morning, igniting a massive pillar of fire that prompted officials to evacuate nearby neighborhoods.

Initial reports indicate the fire started when a car hit one of the pipeline’s valves. Energy Transfer, the pipeline operator, cut off the flow of natural gas to the site but said the fire would continue until the current supply is depleted.

Several homes in the vicinity of the fire sustained structural damage. Energy Transfer is establishing a claims process for those who experienced property loss from the fire.

Governor Abbott deployed state resources to assist with the response, and officials are monitoring the air quality in the area.

Article Icon 1Abbott Launches Operation Targeting Venezuela Gangs

Governor Greg Abbott announced the creation of a new database aimed at identifying potential threats from Venezuelan illegal immigrants.

During a Monday press conference in Houston, Abbott said more than 3,000 illegal immigrants from Venezuela have been arrested in Texas since 2021, including more than 100 of those arrested for rioting at the El Paso border earlier this year.

The effort is aimed particularly at illegal migrants affiliated with the violent Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang, which Abbot declared a foreign terrorist organization.

Last week, 20 suspected TDA members were arrested after the Gateway Hotel in El Paso was shut down by the county.

Houston-based TV anchor Shern-Min Chow discovered an unexpected roommate situation: roughly 48,000 bees living rent-free in her garage wall.

Bee expert Mark Lockhart performed a careful eviction, relocating the buzzing tenants to his own property.

Chow documented the un-bee-lievable process, from thermal imaging to hive extraction. Watch a video here.

Final Day to Invest Is Tomorrow: $4.4B Market Opportunity Turning Waste Into Resources

Every year in America, around 15 million tons of roofing asphalt shingles are dumped into landfills. Few know that those shingles could be sustainably recycled into oil, construction materials, and other valuable goods – which amounts to a potential $4.4B in market

Sky Quarry has patented the technology to do that. They’re planning a Nasdaq listing under ‘SKYQ’, but investors can invest now before their current offering ends tomorrow

The company has already generated $50M in revenue at their Foreland Refinery in Nevada. And they’re opening another location in the next year, the PR Spring facility, with plans to produce up to 1,000,000 barrels of oil annually.

We believe that Sky Quarry is doing something potentially revolutionary. Here’s a list of the different markets they can address by recycling discarded asphalt shingles alone:

  • Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs): Airlines looking to reduce their carbon footprint will push this market from $1B to $16.8B by 2030 – a 1,500% increase

  • Sustainable Construction Materials: The market for green building materials is projected to reach $125B by 2033.

  • New Asphalt Roofing Shingles: Asphalt shingle sales are two-thirds of the roofing market, with demand projected to reach $197B by 2032.

  • Carbon Credits: The carbon credit market is projected to reach $25B by 2030.

This is a paid advertisement for Sky Quarry’s Regulation A Offering. Additional information on the company and risk factors related to the offering can be found in the Form 1-A offering circular.

Last call to Invest: The sustainable fuels market is expected to grow from $1B to $16.8B by 2030 as airlines rush to lower their carbon footprints. That’s just one of many opportunities for Sky Quarry as they recycle old asphalt shingles into oil and other valuable resources. With 211% annual revenue growth already, they’re aiming to produce 2,000 barrels of oil per day by 2025.
